The real estate market is not short on agents. Our objective and mission is to make clients for life. We do this by finding the right property. A successful property search is much more than specifications and floor plans. It is the right questions asked about the personal needs of the clients in line with their financial goals. It is truly getting to know the clients. It is being willing to offer advice sometimes that may be hard to hear after searching and searching for the "right" property.
The cabin in the picture was truly an amazing story in itself. There were two cabins that had been moved from Montgomery Bell State Park to the subdivision in Franklin in the 1970's. These cabins are over 100 years old. The client wanted to sell the property and we reached out to find out about listing it. To say that the public was interested in this sale would be an understatement. We had over 100 showings of the property in just a little over 3 days. We had over 10 offers for the property. Ultimately the seller went with an offer that came from a group that wanted to preserve the history and charm of this home. We were ecstatic that the client chose this buyer. By the way, it was not the highest offer in dollars.
The joy that we see in our clients eyes when we visit a few weeks or months after the transaction just reinforces why we love our calling. I will say it is a calling because no matter the market ups or downs, we never consider the help and service to our clients as a job. Whether it is that piece of land to build their dream home and equestrian facility or whether it is that beautiful home for them and their family with a great yard for play and leisure, each time that we see the joy just energizes Lisa and I to work harder and learn more about how to recreate that experience with the next client.
Middle Tennessee is such a special place to us and our family. We hope that if you are moving here soon, you will talk to us and give us a chance to see that joy in your eyes when you find the "right" property.
